The action of our film takes place simultaneously in two realms. The first realm is the contemporary city of Moscow. Random passers by stop in front of the camera and talk about themselves or about the issues that bother them. Every person introduces himself (or herself) differently. Some people try to appeal to our sense of compassion while the others wish to boast about their success. Some people present themselves as if there were “goods for sale” – advertising their physical assets, like weight and height. All together they form a uniform human mass with a certain collective consciousness. Perhaps, this is, in fact, what is known as the “Collective Unconscious”. The documentary scenes are interchanged with the scenes involving professional actors in order to emphasize the absurdity of the whole action.

The second realm of the film is the 3D fantasy. We witness the grand battles of the greatest minds and poets of all times – such as Dostoevsky, Goethe, Anatole France, Yukio Mishima and Alexander Block - who are fighting against the Collective Unconscious.
