Docudays UA

Traditionally, all documentary film hits are shown in the spring at The Kyiv House of Cinema, during Docudays UA, the Ukraine's only international human rights documentary film festival.

The eighth Docudays UA film festival runs from March 25 to 31, 2011. More than 20 thousand people will come to see the best documentaries from all over the world, and take part in discussions with the filmmakers. That week in spring, Kyiv will host recognized film artists, as well as talented young screenwriters, directors and producers from Europe, America, Asia and Africa. Over the years, the festival has seen master classes from such well-known documentary filmmakers as Marcel Lozinski, Jacek Bławut, Patrick Barberis, Sergei Bukovsky and many others.

Following the main festival in Kyiv, Docudays UA will tour the country. Every year, the touring Docudays UA festival visits to about a hundred Ukrainian cities and towns. Docudays UA is a member of the International Network for Human Rights Film Festivals.
