New Era Orchestra
The
"New Era Orchestra"is one of the few non-state chamber orchestras in Ukraine, bringing together talented young Ukrainian musicians. The Orchestra's artistic director and chief conductor is Tatiana Kalinichenko. The Orchestra's concert programmes are created with an eye to the trends in European classical music, creating an exclusive repertoire.
Features of the "New Era Orchestra":
- cooperation with the leading young composers of Ukraine;
- innovative concert programs, created in accordance with the trends in world classical music;
- premieres of unique musical scores and arrangements of Ukrainian and foreign composers, past and present, for the chamber orchestra.
Tetiana Kalinichenko graduated in 2003 from the P.I. Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine. After graduation, she was invited to work in the opera studio of the "Youth Opera" at the P.I. Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine. She worked as guest conductor at the Dnepropetrovsk Theatre of Classical Opera and Ballet. Since 2004, she has worked as conductor of the National Presidential Orchestra of Ukraine. From 2007, Tatiana has been artistic director and conductor of the "New Era Orchestra".
