Сhamber music

Ensemble Nostri Temporis ("our time"in Latin) was established in spring 2007, by Kyiv composers and performers Maxim Kolomiets and Alexei Shmurak.

Members of the ensemble are students and graduates of the P.I. Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, and are laureates of all-Ukrainian and international musical competitions, participants in European festivals, musical academies and master classes.

The groups performs music of the XX-XXI centuries, including that oof today's young composers.

"The main paradox of the ensemble is as follows: at the moment, four out of seven of its members are actively searching and writing composers yet, despite this, the majority of Nostri Temporis' programmes are skillful, with knowledge and reverentially constructed retrospective, reviews of music from the early and mid-twentieth century, which in Kiev, by and large, has never been played."
