Svyatoslav Luniov was born in 1964 in Kyiv, and graduated from the P.I. Tchaikovsky Kyiv State Conservatory (Professor L.N. Kolodub's composition class). Lunev's works have been played at many international festivals. Among his works are symphonic, chamber, choral, vocal and electro-acoustic music, as well as music for film.
