British band The Go! Team combines guitar-based indie rock, in the spirit of Sonic Youth and the feel of cheerleading, with elements of funk and dance music. The first album "Thunder, Lightning, Strike" was released in Britain in 2004. The second - "Proof of Youth" - came out in 2007. "Proof of Youth" was a chart-topper in the British charts' "Indie" category.
The founder and mastermind of the group is Ian Parton. The front-woman is the brilliant singer and female rapper Ninja, whose live vocals are nothing like the samples used for recoding albums.

Jazzsteppa is renowned for its performance of dubstep live, on acoustic instruments.
The project was formed in Berlin during brief rehearsals, in which several musicians and DJs from across Europe took part. The core of the group: DJ ShmueL! (Gal Moore), MC BarBZ (Gal Bar-Adon), playing wind instruments, Matthew (trumpet, as well as "sound effects") and Fred, in charge of electronic noise.
"Jazzsteppa's music stands on several supports.. On the one hand, the typical dubstep electronic rhythm section: a halting electronic rhythm, and angry rumbling bass. Above this foundation soar ornate jazz solos. Finally, the third important component - the love of weak parts. Dancehall ragga, classic dub and even ska are all found in abundance in their music. Of course, with such a history, it was easiest for these guys to hit it big in the UK, which is what soon happened".
