Ukranian show case

"DAKh" Kyiv Center of the Contemporary Arts was founded in 1994 by Vladislav Troitsky, president of "GOGOLFEST". He called the structure he created "an artistic hotel", a sui generis kind of open platform.

"DAKh'S" strategic objective today is to work together with state and commercial artistic and educational structures to change the cultural landscape of Ukraine, moving it toward greater openness to creative dialogue and experimentation, towards the development of new forms of theatrical organization, and towards the creation of multi-functional open spaces for contemporary art, innovative systems of theatre education, a fully-fledged publishing base for the theatre, etc.
