Nova Scena (New Stage)
The premiere performance of Olga Mukhina's play "Y" in May 2000 can be seen as the birth date of the CCA "New Scene", led by center manager and director Nikolai Osipov. Since that time, the theatre has ptoduced about twenty plays, 10 of which are currently in their repertoire. In addition to searching for new theatricality and dramaturgy, the "New Stage" Theatre seeks to develop acting techniques and technologies. "New Stage" avoids mainstream attitudes and audience preferences, defending its view of the world and theatre.
